FrontPage Server Extensions

Introduction

We currently supports the latest version of FrontPage 2000 server extensions. This includes the following features:

Nested subwebs
Lightweight Source Control (document check-in/check-out without Microsoft Visual SourceSafe for Windows)
Categories component
StyleSheet links to multiple files or Active Server Pages (ASP) files
Confirmation field
FrontPage-created server-side image maps
Hit counter
Registration form handler
Save Results form handler
Field set

The following FrontPage extensions are not currently supported at this time:

Discussion form handler
Search form

FrontPage 2002 server extensions have been released recently by Microsoft and are currently evaluating for inclusion into our hosting solution at a later date.

Using FrontPage Server Extensions

In order to use FrontPage server extensions successfully one needs to Publish or Author the site live with Microsoft FrontPage. Otherwise the FrontPage Server extensions will not work correctly.
